Types of tap connection
Note: White tape is compulsory for all water connection faucet to prevent water leakage. Tape the white tape around the thread of the tap before connecting the connector.
1. ¾ inch Garden Tap
Step 1: Wrap white tape around the threading of the garden tap.
Step 2: Connect the inlet hose of the washing machine to the tap directly.
Step 3: Tighten the connection.
2. ¾ inch Modern Tap (Outer thread with detachable end piece)
Step 1: Remove bottom piece of the tap. Outer thread of the tap will be exposed.
Step 2: Tighten the screws evenly on all sides.
Step 3: Connect the inlet hose of the washing machine to the tap directly.
Step 4: Tighten the connection.
3. Modern Tap with 1/2 inch inner thread
Step 1: Remove bottom piece of the tap.
Step 2: Wrap the white tap around the threading of the BSH adapter. Adapter can be purchased from any hardware stores.
Step 3: Connect the adapter to the tap.
Step 4: Connect the inlet hose of the washing machine to the adapter.
4. Modern Tap with 1/2 inch outer thread
Step 1: Adjust the screws of the adapter such that the bottom of the tap fits into it and is leveled. Adapter can be purchased from any hardware stores.
Step 2: Tighten the screws evenly on all sides.
Step 3: Wrap white tape around the threading of the adapter.
Step 4: Connect the inlet hose of the washing machine to the adapter.
