Lean production means avoiding waste and using production factors from all areas of the company economically and efficiently while keeping the factory competitive. Just good is not good enough in operations. We strive to be perfect every day. We are committed to create value in all we do – no matter how complex it may be. We strive to create a great environment for everyone who works with and around us – be it for our employees, for suppliers, or for the people of Nazarje, Slovenia, and beyond.

We care for the ecological footprint we leave in this world. That is why we make sure to take care of the environment by not only reducing our energy consumption, waste and CO₂ emissions. We also engage in local and national projects to contribute to our society, nature and the environment.

We have especially committed ourselves to a vulnerable, yet fundamentally important species: bees. In a long-term cooperation with beekeeper associations, we have donated and raised money for various bee-related projects, such as the installation of beehives – or the planting of thousands of honey linden trees nationwide. With every sold Bosch household appliance, customers actively support Slovenian bees.

As the largest factory of small domestic appliances in Europe, our employees need to put all their knowledge into working hand in glove, outstanding engineering, innovation, and quality. Perfection is what we strive for: all production steps are perfectly coordinated with each other.

With AI solutions, we create continuous transparency in the production process and can make predictions about quality and productivity. In the end, managing the core product approval activities like safety and tests assure only high-quality products leave our factory.

Founded over 50 years ago, our production site in Nazarje, Slovenia, has become our main factory for small domestic appliances in Europe. Here, we develop and produce an impressive variety of modern kitchen helpers for millions of customers every day: from fully automatic coffee machines to smart kitchen appliances that turn every recipe into an easy-to-make meal. Our focus on innovation, smart solutions and a high sense for the environment has made the production plant “Factory of the Year” in 2021.
