Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
(a) "Bosch Home Appliances Kitchen Hero” (the “Contest”) is organised by BSH Home Appliances Pte. Ltd. (“BSH”) and this Contest is open to person(s) (collectively, “Participants” and each a “Participant”) who fulfil the following conditions:-
(i) This Contest is open to all Participants aged 18 years and above with permanent residential address in Singapore, except employees of BSH, its advertising agencies and their immediate families or anyone else connected with this Contest; and
(ii) Participants must have a valid Facebook account and be a follower of and “like” BSH’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BoschHomeSG/.
(b) BSH reserves the sole and absolute right to verify the eligibility of each Participant and may require such information and documents as it consider necessary for the purpose to verify the eligibility of an entry. BSH also reserves the right to disqualify any Participant without assigning any reason whatsoever.
2. Contest Period
(a) The Contest period for this Contest will commence from 20 July 2024 to 31 August 2024 (Singapore Time, GMT +8:00) (both dates inclusive) (“Contest Period”). Any entry after the Contest Period will not be accepted and disqualified automatically.
3. The Participants and Contest Mechanics
(a) Each Participant stands a chance to win only one (1) unit of Bosch dishwasher.
(b) To enter the Contest, each Participant must, during the Contest Period do the following:
(i) must be a follower and “like” BSH’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BoschHomeSG/;
(ii) take a photo of your kitchen and upload it to the Bosch Kitchen Refresh Contest Facebook Post at Bosch home appliances’ Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BoschHomeSG/; and
(iii) Our appointment agency will use your kitchen photo to generate a revamped kitchen image for you and share a link for you to answer three (3) questions; and
(iv) only one (1) submission per Participant, and the Participant must answer and provide all required information in the entry form of the Contest.
(c) Any entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions, and any incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and disqualified by BSH.
4. Prizes and Conditions on the Prizes
(a) The Participants in the Contest will be eligible to win a Bosch dishwasher worth S$3,799.00 (recommended retail price) with model no. SMS8YCI01E (“Prize”);
(b) One (1) winner will be selected by BSH to win this Prize;
(c) This Prize is not exchangeable for cash, credit, transferable, or other items in part or in full in any manner whatsoever;
(d) Images/pictures used may not be an exact representation of the Prize and the Prize may differ in terms of color, specifications or design;
(e) This Prize shall be used for domestic or household only. Warranty of the products is twenty four (24) months from the date of delivery and subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty. Each winner shall be responsible to register the warranty of the Prize at MyBosch @ https://www.bosch-home.com.sg/mybosch/login; and
(f) Delivery charges or installation charges to be provided by a third party service provider may apply, if applicable.
5. Selection of the Winner
(a) The Prize will be given to the winner selected by BSH at its sole and absolute discretion. The decision made by BSH shall be final, conclusive and binding on all Participants and non-negotiable.
(b) The winner will be contacted via email by BSH, and the selected winner must provide their full name as per NRIC, e-mail address and other information BSH deems necessary for verification purposes to confirm the identity of the winner for the Prize.
(c) The winner must present their confirmation email from BSH for verification.
(d) The Prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance by the winner, if the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to BSH within five (5) days after BSH send an email to contact the winner, the winner will waive its right to claim for the Prize subsequently. BSH has right to select a supplementary winner at its sole and absolute discretion.
6. General
(a) By entering this Contest, each Participant agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions herein and warrants and represents that the kitchen photo submitted is their own creation and original work, and does not incorporate any material or content that is owned or created by any third party, and shall not infringe on or violate any rights of any third party.
(b) The copyright of the submitted kitchen photo shall automatically transfer to BSH’s automatically at no costs.
(c) All entries submitted by the Participant(s) must not contain material, which is obscene, violent, discriminatory, illegal, offensive, threatening, or which is otherwise deemed inappropriate in the sole and absolute discretion of BSH.
(d) All transportation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred or to be incurred to participate in this Contest or after the Contest are the sole responsibility of the Participants.
(e) By participating in this Contest, each Participant hereby unconditionally and irrevocably grant BSH’s and its group of companies exclusive right, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to post, display, publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify such submission to the public in all media including social media with any information provided to BSH in this Contest for promotional and marketing purposes without further reference or compensate or payment to the Participants.
(f) In accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to be featured in any Bosch home appliances collateral for publicity and announcement purposes, if applicable.
(g) By participating in this Contest, each Participant agrees to provide personal data and/or information to BSH for verification, contact, products delivery and/or services. All Participants understand and agree that BSH may collect, use and/or disclose the Participant personal data and/or information provided for promotional and marketing activities via email, push notification and/or SMS, administration, feedback, surveys, market research, delivery & installation of products by BSH service providers or independent contractors, maintenance tips for products, individualised services, culinary events purpose and/or disclose to BSH related corporations in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. The Participant further agrees to BSH Privacy terms and conditions set out at https://www.bosch-home.com.sg/metapages/privacy. (h) The Participant may withdraw consent to provide the Participant’s personal data and/or information at any time by notice in writing to BSH data protection officer(s) at sgr_v_dpo@bshg.com.
(i) BSH reserves its rights to amend, vary, modify, change, suspend, cancel, extend, remove or delete any terms and conditions of this Contest at any time without prior notice and any dispute arising out of this Contest, the decision made by BSH shall be final and binding onto the parties of the dispute. BSH shall not be held liable to compensate and/or indemnify any Participant for any loss and damages in any manner whatsoever in connection with this Contest directly and/or indirectly.
