If you notice an issue with your machine’s functions, simply call customer service. With your permission, the representative can connect to your appliance and run remote diagnostics. Often a fix can be found then and there. If not, the technician who is sent to make the repair can organise the right tools and parts to get the job done first time. That way, you save time and money.

Instead of going through multiple options and preferences each time you start the dishwasher, store your go-to settings as your favourites in the Home Connect app. That way, it just takes one tap on your smartwatch, in the smartphone app or a single voice command to programme your machine.

With Home Connect, your smart dishwasher takes personal requests. Choose additional programmes to suit your household habits for download and installation on your appliance. Need deep cleaning for extra-dirty dishes, faster or silent cycles? There’s a programme for that.
Put your dishwasher on mute.
We can’t promise you the quiet life, but your smart dishwasher can give you 30 minutes of hush time when you need it. Simply open the Home Connect app and activate the Silence on Demand function. Your dishwasher will slow down, dropping the decibels to the level of falling snow. To return to normal operation, deactivate the function at any time in the 30-minute window or wait for the machine to so do automatically at the end of that time.

Everyday life can get pretty hectic. There’s a lot on your mind and your to-do list. To help you out, your dishwasher notifies you about its cycle status, rinse aid and salt levels, important maintenance and even in the unlikely event of a leak. Best of all, you never need to think about tablets again. When you link your Home Connect dishwasher to the Smart Finish auto-replenishment service, you'll receive a new bag whenever you're running low.

A smart appliance isn’t an island anymore. With Home Connect and If This Then That (IFTTT), your appliance can link to other Internet-enabled services and devices to create automated scenarios, where if one thing happens another is triggered. For instance, you can flash the kitchen lights when your dishwasher finishes a load or get an e-mail when it’s due for a maintenance cycle.

How do I know my data is safe?
As a manufacturer, Bosch takes great care over appliance details and its approach to your personal details is no different. To protect your information, Home Connect only works with encrypted Wi-Fi networks. What’s more, with the help of independent experts, we run regular system checks to stay ahead of cyberthreats.
In fact, Home Connect has earned the TÜV TRUST IT Trusted App quality seal label, which is your assurance that it’s secure and won’t spy on your data.
Do I need a special router to use Home Connect?
No. If your phone, tablet or other devices can connect to the Internet via your router, you shouldn’t have a problem with Home Connect.
How do I know if my Wi-Fi network extends to where my appliance is?
Take your Wi-Fi-enabled smartphone or tablet to where your appliance is and check how many bars you see in the Wi-Fi icon. Alternatively, you can download an app to analyse the signal strength.
Can several devices access my smart appliances at the same time?
Yes, you can connect to your appliance with a number of mobile devices at the same time.
Can I delete my Home Connect account if I want to?
Yes, you can delete your Home Connect account at any time. You can do so from the Settings section in the app. As a result, you will no longer be able to use your appliance’s smart functions.
